Dr. Marco Di Gennaro is a physicist specializing in materials simulations, machine learning, and quantum computing. He earned his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Liège, Belgium, where he co-authored research on spin-wave properties in materials (APS Physics). Following his doctorate, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Basel, Switzerland, in the group of Anatole von Lilienfeld (Marvel NCCR). Dr. Di Gennaro has also served as a Machine Learning Scientist at Toyota and is the founder of Atomistic Modelling, focusing on materials research and design (GitHub).

Recognized as an invited fellow at UCLA’s IPAM for the Complex High Dimensional Energy Landscapes program, he now serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for DT Services & Consulting, leading advancements in railways, healthcare, etc.
